This month my payment got held by Google because of this General Payments Issue. An update from AdsensePRO said it was a mistake and they are investigating it. The problem now is, while they are investigating it, my family won't have nothing to eat because Google won't release payment until this issue is resolved. It sucks but all I can do is wait. :(

Never trust Google as they will always find a way to screw you to the wall.  You should seriously consider multiple forms of advertising...

Yeah, I recently enabled my Bidvertiser account and I have Chtika on some of my other blogs.

Just got an update from the Google Adsense Team. Because they mistakenly put a hold in my payment, I won't be getting paid this month but next month instead.

Their mistake but why should I suffer? :(

I don't take Google Adsense at all seriously. Too many people I know have finally gotten to the point where they can get a payout only to have Google find a reason to renege on the payment. I run it because I'm close to getting my first ever payment. Maybe sometime before I'm 50. LOL

I haven't had any issues with Google and their AdSense program, and get paid on a regular basis.  It is important to diversify your income streams and not rely on only one source of income. Have you thought about looking into affiliate programs that are related to your niche?

I haven't had any problems with Adsense.  I've heard a few horror stories so I was a bit worried before I received my first payment.  I'm happy to say it went through without any problems and they've been sending a regular payment ever since :-)

Bidvertiser?  Does anyone trust them?  (Maybe we should start a new thread about Bidvertiser)

Years ago I used to see Bidvertiser ads everywhere, but not so much anymore. I didn't know they were still around.

I don't care for affiliate programs. Why am I spending my time advertising someone else when I could be promoting my own work/ sites?

Surely that depends on the affiliate program? For instance, I can see why I might not promote another ad network at a time when CMF Ads was still running, but I'm happy to promote Project Wonderful now that CMF has closed.

I have started to get more into affiliate programs, more specifically Amazon.  I have had a little bit of success with Amazon, and am hoping for a good holiday season. I don't spend money advertising my blog, but instead find other ways of getting traffic.

I am hoping to supplement my AdSense income with afilliate income as it is always good to diversify online earnings.

Bidvertiser is not counting any of my earnings so I'm removing it as well. :(
